Coronavirus Tips you can Rely On
The recent outbreak of Coronavirus in Central Mississippi has left its mark on its residents. Nowadays, everyone is on edge and unsure what’s going to happen from day-to-day. The good news is that everyone can still do their part to reduce the spread of this pandemic. In addition to staying informed, it’s important to adhere to the following tips recommended by the CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO), which include but aren’t limited to:
- Wash thy hands: This is the easiest one for people to do for themselves. Using soap and water, make sure to follow the CDC recommendation of a minimum of 20 seconds at a time. Add more time if you’ve been outside recently.
- Sanitizer is crucial: You won’t always have access to soap and water. For those times, there’s no problem with using sanitizer. To ensure effectiveness, make sure the sanitizer is at least 60% alcohol to help prevent coronavirus.
- Self-isolation: For Central Mississippi residents, this is extremely important. Stay home as much as possible. During those times you have to go out, be sure to stay at least six feet away from other people you come across.
- Clean your home: The home needs to stay clean as well. As such, it’s important to sanitize and disinfect the home often. When in doubt, just follow the sanitization protocol established by the World Health Organization.
